I have always been fascinated with Royals and their history. When world dignitaries visit Victoria they stay in the Government House (the full-time home of the Lieutenant Governor for British Columbia). However, when there is no dignitary staying, the grounds are open to the public and the house is available for tours. I have taken several tours over the years, none since HRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited in September 2016. This was my first time back to the grounds since they were there and I almost looked at it through fresh eyes. The children stayed at Government House full time while Kate and Will traveled around a bit. It was so cool to walk around and imagine that was where the children were playing and spending their time.
This replikate took some serious planning. I actually bought my daughter’s dress quite a while ago and was worried she may have grown too much to fit it, haha. But it actually fit her just fine, thankfully! My dress is from Amazon and I am really impressed with it, especially the quality for the price point, highly recommend!
PS – The foot stance in my comparison photo next to Kate and Charlotte was totally coincidental. This was the best photo out of the bunch (definitely more challenging when working with a one year old!) and it just so happened to match up pretty perfectly, I wish I could say it was on purpose!
Thanks for stopping by.
